I sat down with the New Moon cast recently, and they had a lot to say. Robert Pattinson dished on fame and dental work, but more importantly shared his secrets on how to break up with a girl.

Also, Dakota Fanning explained how she managed the whole regular-teenager thing while filming a vampire movie, and Kellan Lutz spilled a shocker: He may have bagged your groceries.

Inside Rob and Kristen's Stunning Euro Slobberfest!

After Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were finally snapped holding hands yesterday leaving Paris, everyone's wondering—are they coming out? As a couple, that is.

Our Twilight sources are hardly shocked over the PG PDA over in France. They tell us that Robsten were pretty cuddly during their French photo-call at the Crillon Hotel yesterday afternoon, too...

"Between photos, Kirsten was standing on her tiptoes, whispering things to Rob, and they were giggling," Luce Morton, a journalist who was at the hotel tells E! News.

"It's Rob and Kristen who want the privacy," Deep Twi adds when we asked how Summit feels about the recent hand-holding. "No one expects them to confirm or deny anything, but that's up to them."

Kristen keeps taking the lead on saying she won't ever answer the inevitable dating question—and we don't blame her. But if these sneaky paps keep snapping away, maybe she won't have to.

Rob and Kristen are now in London, and while they're hardly shouting from the rooftops "we're in love" (sorry, OK! mag, you can't use that cover this week), they have given us some fun bites.

Even we are on New Moon overload if you can believe it, so let's just do a recap of what's been going down across the pond:

• Kristen told reporters in London today that kissing Robert Pattinson was "pretty cool." Oh come on, K! Get a little more graphic than that, girlfriend!

• When asked about the couple's very obvious chemistry, both on and offscreen, she said it was all part of the job, insisting she had to stay close to Rob to play her character well.

"Any good relationship that I've had with an actor has been so emotional and personal," she told the press. "If you don't have that, then you're just lying. I have that with Taylor."

• Poor Taylor! He's the deflector for everything. Even Rob pawns the attention off of him and on to Tay-Tay

"I hadn't worked out at all until I saw Taylor at the beginning of the year," Pattz said. "I felt incredibly inadequate and emasculated. I had a prepubescent teen body—I had A cups!"

• R.Pattz's ideal girlfriend: "I like people who are strong and have a lot of darkness to them."

Oh my, Rob and Kristen are so a match made in complicated heaven.

Twilight Director Rewrites Robsten History?

Everyone knows by now that Catherine Hardwicke is crackers. She's got a mouth like Megan Fox, but we still love her, right?

She's always kept it interesting when we've spoken with her, and she certainly didn't disappoint in her recent interview with Time.

Cath says nothing went down between Rob and Kristen during Twilight, but confirms they're giving it a shot now.

Hmmm, you sure about that time line, babe?

Hardwicke dishes:

"After I cast him, I told Rob, don't even think about having a romance with [Kristen]...She's under 18. You will be arrested."

Interesting. What legal guru is whispering in Catherine's ear? She continues telling Time she doesn't think anything went down on her watch.

"I didn't have a camera in the hotel room, I cannot say...but in terms of what Kristen told me directly, it didn't happen on the first movie. Nothing crossed the line while on the first film. I think it took a long time for Kristen to realize, OK, I've got to give this a go and really try to be with this person."

This isn't the first time C.H. has outted Robsten as Robsten. Over the summer she spilled how she'd seen Rob and Kristen's fascination with each other from the first time they were getting it on for Rob's audition.

Catherine also told us she totally approves that Rob and Kristen are a real-life couple now.

So what gives on the hush-hushing of what went down during the first film? Maybe Hardwicke doesn't really know. Hell, we don't even really know specifics, but well-placed sources that were on set of Twilight told us "something" was going on between R and K during filming.

The whole underage thing is a huge factor in why no one would want to blab about that. Also, Kristen was in a relaysh at the time, so no one wants to think of Rob as a homewrecker. But at the end of the day, we can tell you Robsten were developing during this whole friggin' first movie.

Rental car romps? Secret hotel room love confessions? Or just intense intellectual conversation? Maybe we'll never really know, but we can say Twilight was where Robsten started heating up.

Twilight Mastermind Stephenie Meyer: Robert Pattinson Looks Like the Edward in My Head

Just as he has with so many other women, Robert Pattinson has become a full-fleged citizen of Stephenie Meyer's fantasy world.

The usually press-shy author who gave life to Bella, Edward, Jacob and a billion-dollar media phenomenon told Oprah Winfrey today that R.Pattz and his unique and "significantly featured" face brought her visions of Edward to life.

"I knew that the problem was going to be Edward, because he's the perfect vampire," Meyer said in what will be her only formal interview before New Moon hits theaters Nov. 20. "How do you cast that from your pool of human actors?"

But Pattinson "doesn't look like everybody else," she said. "There's something unusual. There are moments where he looks exactly like he did in my head."

As for the role of Bella, "there's plenty of people who look like the girl next door. We were really lucky with Kristen Stewart, who is a phenomenal actress."

And the rest is history.

History wrought by a dream that Meyer, a first-time author who had never tried to publish anything, just happened to have.

"It was two people in kind of a little circular meadow with really bright sunlight, and one of them was a beautiful, sparkly boy and one was just a girl who was human and normal, and they were having this conversation," the 35-year-old former stay-at-home mom recalled, describing what eventually became Chapter 13 of Twilight.

"The boy was a vampire, which is so bizarre that I'd be dreaming about vampires, and he was trying to explain to her how much he cared about her and yet at the same time how much he wanted to kill her."

Sounds hot already.

"I got up and got the kids ready for the day, and then I sat down at the computer to write some notes, because I didn't want to forget it," she continued, describing the though process that led to the creation of the Twilight novels. "It was a passion and a frenzy when I started writing. I'd been bottling up who I was so long I needed an expression."

"It was just me spending time in this fantasy world, and when it was finished, it was like, this is long enough to be a book, even. I studied literature and I loved to read, but writing to me seemed—well first of all, everybody knows you can't make a living at writing."

And yet here she is on Oprah, being introduced by the richest woman on TV as a "bazillionaire."

Rob and Kristen Stroll Arm in Arm!

We told you the romantic city of Paris might be what Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart needed to get in the mood.

Robsten were just spotted holding hands as they were getting ready to board a private jet at Le Bourget airport tonight leaving France.

This is hardly the first time the two have been caught in public hand-holding, but it is the first time they've been pictured. And seriously, this is like the oldest form of romance if you ask us. Way more meaningful than playing tonsil-hockey in public.

So speak up, Robsten naysayers: Is this good enough for ya?

Chris Weitz to Direct Breaking Dawn?

Although Twilight and New Moon screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg played coy when Marc Malkin asked whether she would write the screenplay for Breaking Dawn last month, we were able to confirm from our studio sources that she will, in fact, be back to write the fourth script—and possibly the fifth.

It's still up in the air whether B.D. will be two movies—hence why everyone dodged any questions about the fourth flick during the New Moon junket.

During the press conference a reporter asked Kristen Stewart about the possibility of two movies, but the mic was immediately pulled away as the intermediary guy said "next question."

So what's the latest on the fourth Twilight flick? And will New Moon's Chris Weitz direct?

Here's what we could squeeze out of the cast:

"I think the tentative time for Breaking Dawn is fall of next year. I think. They may well change that," Robert Pattinson told a sea of reporters on Friday.

Rosenberg and Weitz did a panel together, and we grabbed both of them on their way out.

Have you started writing the script for Breaking Dawn, or is it still in development?
Rosenberg: "You know what, I still can't comment on that yet!"

OK. We all know the fourth one is going to happen eventually—if you say no comment again, can we take that as a sign it's very much in the works?
Rosenberg: [laughs.] "OK, no comment!"

As for who will direct the fourth flick? Ashley Greene thinks it'll be a new director, but we're not totally sure. Summit wanted Chris Weitz to direct Eclipse, but because of scheduling conflicts, he wasn't able to. And the entire cast loves C.W., too.

Seriously, we haven't heard one bad thing about you from the cast, crew or studio. If asked, would you come back on and direct Breaking Dawn?
Weitz: "Well, I'd be stupid not to. I loved [directing New Moon]. Summit, the cast, the crew, everyone was amazing. But making a movie takes up a lot of time, and I have a young son at home. Right now my plan is to spend a lot time with my family."

Looks like C.W. is taking a play out of the Robsten book! We don't think that's a firm no—do you all? Plus, since R.Pattz said we've got a good year to go, maybe Chris will be ready to get back on the Twilight fan-wagon.

How Weird Are All Those New Moon Vampire People?

You mean I have to pick just one? On Friday I sat through an entire afternoon of Cullens, Volturi and Wolf Pack members, not to mention at least one guy with an English accent, leather jacket and stand-up hair.

I think any answer about weird/interesting things said there deserves a Top Five list. At least.

Here goes:

1. The current fetishes among the Cullens include this gem from Kellan Lutz: "I'm just obsessed with candy and animals. I love safaris now. I can't go to a zoo. When I was in Africa, I went on a safari and giant white lions and tigers were walking right by our place. Baboons were trying to break in our car and steal my candy, which isn't nice."

2. Perhaps oddly, Nikki Reed is seen as more maternal than Elizabeth Reaser. "I really feel like Nikki is way more maternal than me. She's much more of a caretaker...She would cook me dinner and make me coffee. She was so sweet."

3. Reaser and Reed have made up a fantasy life for their characters. When they aren't standing around in the Cullen house trying hard not to eat Bella, "Esme goes out and tears apart a mountain lion, every other night," Reaser says. "We decided that Esme and Rosalie tear apart mountain lions together," Reed added.

4. Taylor Lautner had to carry around little baggies of food, including beef patties and sweet potatoes, to ensure he ate enough calories to bulk up by 30 pounds for New Moon.

5. The wig that Lautner wears during the first part of the film kind of drove him nuts. "It was very itchy, hot, whatever, annoying," Lautner explained. "It got caught in my mouth and I'm spitting hair out in the middle of the scene. I'm coming this close to kissing Bella and, 'Sorry, I've got to spit my hair out.' It was annoying.

"My last day of filming with the wig, we ripped it off, held it up in the air, like, 'That's a picture wrap on Taylor's wig!' The whole crew gave it a standing ovation. It was amazing."

Did I say five? Well, vampires never die, and neither did the good times at these press conferences. Here's a bonus from Kristen Stewart:

"I'm definitely never going to be a biker," despite her character's increasing interest in hogs in New Moon, she said. "I'm scared of cars, so the idea of riding a motorcycle is just never going to be something that I'm into. I was towed ridiculously. I was on the back of this truck" during the solo motor bike scenes, "and I probably looked funny doing it."

Rob and Kristen Keep the Mystery Going

After three extremely busy days of promoting New Moon here in Los Angeles, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner now kick off their European photo calls, starting in Paris.

Oh, the romantic possibilities!

Before heading to Europe, though, Robsten did a very good job of evading photogs and possibly stealing a night for themselves. It's just more of the covert cuddling game they love to play so much—or is it?

Rob was driven out of the Four Seasons Hotel late Saturday night, where, coincidentally, Kristen (who was staying at L'Ermitage Hotel down the street) was spotted leaving at almost the exact same time.

There's speculation that the two went to K.Stew's parents' house, but luckily for Robsten, they were able to successfully lose the paps trying to tail their vehicles.

So how are Kristen and Rob balancing their celebrity and private life? We were able to ask Robsten this separately over the weekend, at the Four Seasons.

Having such an avid fan base, where and how do you draw the line between what the public wants to know about your private life and actually keeping it private?

"I don't think that anyone can get a handle [on that]," Kristen told us. "It's like as soon as I stopped trying to control everything that came out of my mouth and every picture that came out, that's when I became so much happier and it was so much easier to deal.

"I've just grown into not having to care so much and to not try to think that I'm going to be able to plan out the way that everyone perceives me... I'm going to own what I'm going to own. I'm always going to keep what's important to me in mind and I completely understand, considering that we're playing characters that are so coveted by so many people. I just sort of have to not think about it."

Heart this girl. You can tell she really does think a lot about what to say, but doesn't say things just because she thinks she should. Kristen speaks with as much serious intensity as she plays her roles.

Now, on to Rob:

How do you maintain the balance of letting your fans and the public know who you are—outside of just being Edward—but also keeping your private life private?

"I think you just do it through doing jobs," Rob says. "It's such a risky thing, doing interviews. I try to limit the amount of interviews I do. No one is that interesting, especially when you're not really saying anything. And I don't particularly want to be some kind of character in society.

"So, I guess the only thing you can do is do jobs and see if people respond to that. But I'm always holding on to the fact that I don't really know who I am, so hopefully I won't compartmentalize myself because of that. I'm just completely ignorant of the whole thing. I've never really struggled with anything, up until recently. I've got to stop being so self-deprecating 'cause people are starting to believe it. They'll be like, 'That guy is an idiot,' so I've tried to stop doing that."

You hear that, everybody? The "we're going to do as we please" game is majorly on.

Robsten's denying nothing. They're just owning their right to keep it real. And private. And we love 'em!

Overworked Rob Needs a Break!

"Honestly- I don't!"

— The sexy hunk of hair himself, Mr. Robert Pattinson, when we asked him how he unwinds after stressful or crazy days. First off, we are shocked at how down to earth RP has managed to stay throughout this Twilight Saga ride. Even according to Rob, he's had practically no days off this whole year.

"I've been on three different sets, since January 14th," Rob told the crowd at yesterday's press conference. "I've had, like, three days off. I'm going to be on set all next year as well. I don't know what doing errands and things is really like 'cause I haven't had a sustained period of time where I've been off."

Poor guy! Don't you just want to give him a hug...maybe draw him a bubble bath? Either way we're glad he has someone to lean on through this. Whether R.Pattz ever chooses to admittedly talk romantically about Kristen, he fully says he's able to share this crazy fame experience with her- something that's made them very close.

New Moon Overload! Catch the Big Weekend Scoop

Dakota Fanning obsesses about baby names. And always has. "I have been planning the names of my children," she said, "since I was four."

The Wolf Pack boys plan to get matching tattoos. Also, their nipples get rock-hard. "We should have a cutting glass business," one pack member revealed.

K.Stew wants R.Pattz again...as a costar! She tells us: "Yeah, we talk about it all the time."

Kristen Stewart: Bella-Edward Breakup Scene was the “Scariest Thing”

At a press conference in Los Angeles on Friday to promote New Moon, the film’s star Kristen Stewart talked openly and at length about the evolution of her character Bella between Twilight and this second film, including why filming the breakup scenes between Bella and Robert Pattinson’s Edward Cullen was “the scariest thing.”

On the Development of Her Character in New Moon:
“What I really love about New Moon is that you see this girl build herself back up and by the time she makes this sort of rash decision to spend eternity with a vampire she’s in a position where you actually believe her. You’re like, ‘Okay, you’re old enough, you’re mature enough to know. You’ve lived life.’ She grows up. I don’t know what I’m talking about anymore.”

On the Breakup Scene with Edward:
“That was the scariest thing. I was almost as worried about messing it up than I was about what I actually should have been thinking about which was the issues that Bella is dealing with. Reading it, it’s so iconic. There’s nothing like that moment in reality even. It’s not even like a normal breakup scene. I know what’s it like to get broken up with but I don’t know what it’s like to get broken up with by a vampire who I’ve now been physically and chemically altered by. Suddenly you take an addict, you take whatever they’re addicted to away from them and there’s withdrawal. So that was the most intimidating scene in the entire movie. I don’t know how to explain how I did it…

“I mean, the breakup scene that I did with Rob, that’s not where it happens yet. That’s not where I was intimidated. That was still, like she doesn’t even believe it yet. It’s when he goes, the absence of him that I was scared of. I was like, ‘How am I going to by myself in the woods with a hundred guys standing around me, filming me, die?’ Basically, literally having the equivalent of like a death scene but stay alive and get up and keep walking. It was hard. It was really intimidating. I still don’t know. I’ve seen the movie. I really like the movie but I don’t know if anyone ever really would’ve been able to bring that to life the way that Stephanie Meyer writes it.”

On Working with New Moon Director Chris Weitz:
“Chris has everything. I think to be a good director you have to be a good person and you have to care about people. I don’t know a more compassionate human being. I couldn’t have done this unless I had such a believable environment, a comfortable and safe environment to be so vulnerable in. He provided that tenfold. He’s one of the coolest, one of the smartest and funniest guys I know. He really loves the project as well. He wasn’t just jumping on the next big thing. So it wasn’t about breaking him in at all. He only helped make everything better. He made everything what it is. He’s incredible. I love him.

“Chris did a very different thing that I’ve never had a director do. He put together, it’s like a syllabus almost of what we were supposed to achieve and how he was going to make it easier for everyone, sort of an introduction to how he likes to work. It didn’t only introduce the idea of collaboration, it was like inviting everyone onto this project and saying, ‘Please, everyone love it, and please, everyone be invested and work hard.’ It was very encouraging.”

On the Attempt to Recast the Part of Jacob Black for New Moon:
“I think that controversy has probably been like made bigger than it was. We needed to be sure that whoever played Jacob was going to be Jacob in New Moon. He’s such a different person. He becomes a man. There’s an entire thing. It’s not just a physical transformation. He really becomes an adult. I mean I always knew that Taylor could do that but we just needed to make sure because it was so important. So once he actually proved himself, which wasn’t hard to do, even seeing him walk around on set was like a different experience. He’s literally become a different person. He’s just grown up. He’s so confident and the nicest guy that I’ve ever met. I know that I’m using this grammatically incorrect but he’s the funnest guy I’ve ever hung out with. So he’s great. I’m so proud of him.”

On Having to Ride a Motorcycle for Her Role:
“I’m definitely never going to be a biker. The idea of riding, I mean I’m scared of cars so the idea of riding a motorcycle is just never going to be something that I’m into. I was towed ridiculously. I was on the back of this truck and I probably looked funny doing it. Taylor rode motorcycles really well. There’s this one part that’s sort of undeniably him. He rides up and skids. I left that to him. I wasn’t about to do that. I don’t even think that they would let me necessarily. They would have more faith in Taylor to do that.”

On Filming Scenes in Italy:
“The fact that we didn’t have to be on a set and we were really in Italy, it makes it so much easier to immerse yourself in this world. It was so cool that we got to go to Italy and that we didn’t have to fake it…. To go from Forks to Italy is such a stark contrast and romantic just in the idea of it. So then to be there and feel it, of course it helps to have the real environment.”

On Bella as a Role Model for Young Women:
“I think that Bella is such a good character for girls not to look up to because it’s not looking up. The fact that she’s normal, and I think the most typically relatable thing is that she’s awesome and she doesn’t know it and she’s very sort of confident but also not arrogant… I think she is a good example for a young girl.”

On Becoming Attached to Her Character:
“I’m very protective of her. I feel a shared ownership. It’s weird. If you were talk about the character in a way that was not at all thought out or flippant I would be right there to say that you didn’t know what you were talking about. I’m so defensive of her. So, yeah, I feel like I like her a lot.”

On What to Expect from Eclipse:
“Eclipse is such that, just like New Moon, it sort of starts and becomes a completely new movie. Just as soon as you think you’re going to get the same story it’s sort all of a sudden that it completely changes. Bella is much more back to herself. She’s content now. She’s comfortable and self-assured in a way that she wasn’t in New Moon.

“I think what I really love about Eclipse, what was interesting for me to explore, was different levels of love and acknowledging that the ideals that you maybe had a little while ago aren’t true. Bella is innately honest. That’s something that I feel she is. In Eclipse she lies to herself and she lies to everyone around her about the fact that she’s in love with Jacob, just not as much. It’s not that extra thing that you can’t really even describe.

“I loved watching the three of them. I loved playing with the three characters together. There’s literally a scene where Edward and Jacob, who are mortal enemies, are in a tent with a sleeping Bella in between them. It’s a ridiculous circumstance to find yourself in. We had so much to work with.

On Working with New Cast Member Bryce Dallas Howard in Eclipse:
Bryce is scary. She’s really oddly sweet as well. So it’s funny to see her switch back and forth, but Victoria for Bella is like an ever-present fear. Even when Victoria isn’t around she’s scared that she’s coming back. Bryce is such a good actress and it was easy to be scared of her.

On Her Expectations for Breaking Dawn:
“I can’t wait to do the fourth one because I’m sure that I’m going to come in and say that everything I said this time was wrong, that I actually know Bella more now. And actually we have such established dynamics. The way that I know Bella deals with Edward, you sort of can’t mess with that. I know how she deals with him. I know how she deals with Jacob. I know how she deals with Charlie, her dad, and to have people come in and help that process out is only cooler. You always get a different perspective.”

R-Pattz: “I’m as Stubborn as Edward”

At Friday’s press conference to promote New Moon, the Twilight Saga’s leading hunk Robert Pattinson talked about the many ways in which he and his vampire alter-ego, Edward Cullen, are alike. R-Pattz also explained why the sight of a buffed-up Taylor Lautner had him heading to the gym.

On Bella and Edward’s Breakup Scene:
“There’s something weird about it. One of the main things I felt doing that and what really helped was people’s anticipation of the movie, and the fans of the series’ idea about what Bella and Edward’s relationship is and what it represents to them. It’s some kind of ideal for a relationship. And so, just playing a scene where you’re breaking up the ideal relationship, I felt a lot of the weight behind that. Also, it took away a fear of melodrama. It felt seismic, even when we were doing it. It was very much like the stepping out into the sunlight scene, at the end. You could really feel the audience watching, as you’re doing it. It was a strange one to do.”

On the Scene Where Edward Exposes Himself to the Sun in Italy:
“I just came to a realization about that scene. It was one of the closest moments I really felt to people’s emotional attachment to the character because there were so many extras there who were just Twilight fans, who had flown in to be in the town square. Just taking that one step into the light, it’s been the one moment, since the first ComiCon, where I’ve felt the whole weight of anticipation and responsibility to all the people who are so obsessed with the stories. It was a good moment. It was very nerve-wracking, but I probably felt the most in character that I’ve ever felt, throughout the whole series, at that moment.”

On Character Traits He Shares with Edward:
“I guess stubbornness, in some ways, about some things. He’s pretty self-righteous. I get quite obsessive about things, and possessive as well… I have very, very specific ideas about how I want to do my work and how I want to be perceived, to the point of ridiculousness, sometimes. I don’t listen to anyone else. That’s why I don’t have a publicist or anything. I can’t stand it, if someone is trying to tell me to do something, which is maybe a mistake sometimes. I like being meticulous, and it’s quite difficult, as an actor, to have that much control. The good thing about the Twilight series is that it does give you a lot more control over tiddly little things, which I want to have. I’m a control freak about it.”

It's no shock we adore Kristen Stewart here at the AT. We had the pleasure of meeting her again yesterday at the New Moon junket and press conference in LA, and K.Stew truly didn't disappoint, again.

First off, she looked totally hot rocking her slightly grown out Joan Jett hair pulled back a bit with a black blazer and one of her standard quirky tees underneath. While K battles a few haters out there we think the babe's a breath of fresh air. Finally—not another cookie-cutter Hollywood bimbo. Her boy, Robert Pattinson, is kind of the guy equivalent of that, too.

After the press conference KS stopped real fast to chat with us on her way out, ‘cause we just had to know: would she work with Rob, or any of the cast, again after all these Twilight flicks are over?

AT: Once all of these Twilight movies are done you will have spent many years filming with the same group of people—would you have any interest in working with them when it's all over?
Kristen: Literally…every single one of them [she said sternly and sweetly].

AT: How about Rob, in particular. Would you see yourself staring in a flick with him again?
Kristen: Yeah, we talk about it all the time.

We're kinda surprised, but no complaints here! These kids can be the new rat-pack.

So what kinda role could you see Robsten tackle next? Maybe they should do some crazy Tarantino flick with lots of sex, but crazy violence. A Casablanca remake of sorts. Swear we've mentioned something like this before.

The 19-year-old actress dished on break-ups, loving two people at once and who exactly would make the better husband, Robert Pattinson or Taylor Lautner. Check it:

On channeling past break-up for Bella: “I’ve never broken up with a vampire before, so it’s a job…it’s like ‘How do I reference?’ You’re always trying to play the intensified version of reality. And it’s hard because in the movie, I’m also very open and alive with another character — Jacob. So, in a day I would have to go back and forth and that was draining.”

On who would make the better husband, Rob or Taylor: “I’m sure they would both be great husbands. They’re both different…Taylor is great, he’s steady and sure. He’s a really good guy. Rob, if you’re into…he’s more analytical. He’s more thoughtful. It depends on what you’re into. They’re both good guys.”

Talk about quite the frenzy yesterday when Kristen Stewart was spotted with a "mystery man." We weren't even gonna make a big deal about it because, well, it's not.

Can't a guy and a girl be friends anymore? Especially if the friend is a relative?

K.Stew was leaving L'Ermitage Hotel in the same kinda car her brother drives, so let's just close the nasty anti-Robsten rumor mill on that, 'K?

Now, Robert Pattinson and Kristen start their publicity somewhat together in Los Angeles today...

...and Team Awful will be on hand for all the real-life mooning and staring that goes on between R and K.

We have no reason to believe that Rob and Kristen supposedly requested to do their PR separately. They couldn't give a squat about what we all think of their relaysh, so they certainly won't be going out of there way to hide their off-screen chemistry. Just won't shed light on it either, ya dig?

New Moon Shockers: R.Pattz Isn't Romantic + More!

Edward Cullen? All kinds of melodramatic romantic. Robert Pattinson? Not so much, at least, according to Robert Pattinson.

"I really haven't done that many romantic things in my life...I mean, I've watched Titanic," he said today at a press conference promoting New Moon, the second part in, like, only the most important movie series like ever. Another shocking reveal: The actor-musician, who even had a song on the Twilight soundtrack, has never serenaded anyone.

"Oh no. You need to have so much balls to do that, Jesus Christ," he said. "I put a flower on someone's locker when I was 15."

What else did Pattz reveal? Oh, so much...

His demographic is wide. Like, really, really wide. "There was a woman who came up to me the other day, she must have been in her nineties...and they would say exactly the same things as 12-year-old girls. It's kind of bizarre."
His costar Taylor Lautner is ripped, and he knows it. "Taylor had agreed to an interview where the interviewer was going to fight him," Pattz said. "I don't think I would ever agree to do that. Looking at Taylor's martial arts videos from when he was 9, I wouldn't want to. Maybe if I had a weapon."
If he isn't romantic, he sure is possessive...about his image. "I guess I get quite obsessive about things, possessive. I have very specific ideas about how I want to do my work and how I want to be perceived, to the point of ridiculousness sometimes. I don't listen to anyone, that's why I don't have a publicist or anything. I couldn't stand it if someone tried to tell me what to do."
He estimates he has had less than a week off in the past year. "I have been on sets from three different films since January," he said. "And I've had like three days off."

Attention all Robsten tongue-waggers: Gossip away! Kristen Stewart is over it! Totally and completely over it!

Much hay has been made in recent days about K.Stew's tumultuous relationship with the tabloids and her fierce words for gossips.

But at a press conference today in Los Angeles promoting The Twilight Saga: New Moon, Stewart indicated she'd finally found a way to cope.

"The whole rumor, tabloid stuff, it's so obviously false," she said, holding forth solo before a press mob, enthused and energetic and seemingly very happy about the whole thing.

"I became a part of a show, a ridiculous show, with false realism, like a soap opera, but it doesn't bother me. I don't take it personally, because I have gotten so much experience with this, it's gotten easier."

In fact, K.Stew now insists she gets it, how fans can get carried away, too.

"I totally understand that people have a hard time seeing us outside of our characters," she said, admitting she's very also very attached to hers, the lovestruck Bella Swan.

"I'm very protective of her. I feel a shared ownership, its weird," she said. "Maybe I am an immature girl as well; I really feel like if you think you need to do it, you need to do it, and 'it' can be anything. Be extreme. Go for it. I know this is a movie about immortality and mortality, but you only live once."

Earlier this week, we had Vanity Fair trying to make Robsten happen, and today Harper's Bazaar takes a shot at it.

The fashion mag definitely has the upper hand since they talked to both Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart and also managed to have them pose for some steamy gothic romantic photos.

As for the interview itself, writer Laura Brown talked to Rob and Kristen separately in their side-by-side Vancouver hotel rooms and neither star confirmed or denied a relationship. In fact, there's no mention of the mag even asking for clarification—just this speculation:

"At the moment, there is only one thing anyone cares about regarding these two... Are they dating or what? Well...it's clear that Rob and Kristen are close—very close."

And that's it. From there, the rest of the article plays out like the hookup is a sure thing, with questions like "Who is the most romantic then?"

"I have a no-bulls--t detector," Kristen says, "so I'd have to say Rob is. I think romance is anything honest. As long as it's honest, it's so disarming."

Rob's answer: "Um, I don't know. What did Kristen say? No. I'm better at faking."

Obviously, that question was posed to each separately and not in the context of their own relationship, whatever it is. This assumption that Rob and Kristen are a thing without either one ever talking about it continues throughout the rest of the article. Kristen wears the pants! Rob's the competitive one! She calls him "Flippy" because he sucks at stunts!

At one point, Brown even makes light of the tabloids for reporting the two are engaged based on them calling each other "husband" and "wife" on set, which is just as thin as they're "close—very close."

Doesn't matter, though! As long as Rob will say, "She's a unique girl. You really don't meet many people like Kristen." And they'll pose for pictures like this:

The mystery's alive. And they've got two more movies to get through, so we probably won't be getting a real answer to the dating question for a while.

And that's fine. They really do look pretty together.

In the words of one of our faves on Twitter, this Harpers Bazaar issue with Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart just bitch-slapped Vanity Fair.

Aside from the smoking-hot pics, this issue almost reminds us of the W where Brangelina played house.

Pattz and Stew give some adorable answers about who's more romantic (that would be Rob according to Kristen, which is totally no surprise to us), and even the mag can't help noting R and K are "close—very close."

The interview is friggin' pinch-your-cheeks cute. Harpers gives Robsten a "newlywed game" of sorts. Here are some of our fave excerpts:

Kristen: "Rob. In a very childish way, in every aspect of his life. He'll literally start talking in a different voice if he's won something. He sounds like a 5-year-old."

Rob: "She would say me, but I reckon it's her. If either one of us catches the other one doing it, we're like, 'Jesus Christ, is that what you're looking at?' And the other one's on their phone pretending to text. I look up my competition more than she does. I'm incredibly shallow. I think she just looks at herself."

Kristen: "Who can hang? Definitely me. He's very sensitive. He's got a fragile ego."

We could go on 'cause the whole interview is pretty awesome—it makes Rob look more chivalrous and goofy lovable than drunk and loony.

Although we will say we think Kristen wears the pants in this relaysh—and we don't just mean literally. She seems a bit more in control (not that that's bad—there's always one alpha in a couple), doncha think?

Kristen Stewart chatted with Entertainment Weekly recently in Vancouver and had to attempt to answer the dreaded dating question—again.

"I probably would've answered it if people hadn't made such a big deal about it," K.Stew said. "But I'm not going to give the fiending an answer. I know that people are really funny about 'Well, you chose to be an actor, why don't you just f--king give your whole life away?! Can I have your firstborn child?'"

The most interesting part? How poor Rob tried to put in his two cents but was totally denied!

This is how EW brilliantly describes the interviewing scene:

"Pattinson himself, who clearly loathes confrontation, tried to softly interject with philosophical statements about the need for an actor to hold onto his individuality. But Stewart cut him off."

Too funny—we love this no bulls--t girl. Here's how Kristen ended the love talk:

"I've thought about this a lot," she dished. "There's no answer that's not going to tip you one way or the other. Think about every hypothetical situation: 'Okay, we are. We aren't. I'm a lesbian.' I'm just trying to keep something,"

We get it: Robsten wants to keep their crap private. So for anyone looking for that official confirmation (like we sometimes whine about, too), we're not getting it. And tough s--t for us. But seriously, it's pretty damn obvious by now whether Rob and Kristen "are or aren't."

Deep Twi tells us that Pattz and Stew are already "exhausted" by press and the personal questions that go along with it. Too bad these kids have a ways to go.

So how come Taylor Lautner manages to look so damn happy?

Kristen Stewart just can't get away from vampires, even offscreen.

The New Moon actress is back in L.A. and was just spotted leaving the L'Ermitage Hotel with a dude other than Rob Pattinson—and almost bumping into Vampire Diaries star Kayla Ewell.

With her dyed-black hair pulled back under a backward baseball cap and sporting her signature Raybans, Stewart talked to a few fans who caught her pulling out of the garage in a souped-up silver Dodge Magnum.

K.Stew attempted to remain incognito at first but admitted her star status after the persistent fans peered into the vehicle.

"Thanks," she simply smiled as the fans complimented her on her work.

As for the guy she was with?

It definitely wasn't R.Pattz, but take a deep breath, Robsten lovers.

It didn't look all that romantic.

The dude driving had dark hair and almost hit a passerby walking along the street as they attempted to jet away from the property.

As for Rob, he's got yet another admirer in Vampire Diaries star Kayla.

Yesterday's Vanity Fair article got a lot of you pretty pissy. Some debate was about whether Team Awful's been wrong for the past six months (BTW, we aren't backtracking, like some of you misread), but more of you were bothered by how the glitzy interview portrayed Robert Pattinson.

Some were peeved at Rob's Kristen answer (we don't see anything unusual with what he said—if you read his exact quotes), but a shocking number of you commented how "gross" they thought R.Pattz was after reading the article.

Rob Pattinson Charms Twilighters in Tokyo

Ecstatic screams and fluttering hearts translate the same in any language.

"Thank you all so much for coming," Robert Pattinson told a crowd of adoring fans in Tokyo, his latest stop on the whirlwind New Moon publicity tour.

"It's always really surprising, whenever we go anywhere in the world, there seems to be so many people everywhere who are just as passionate...It's always just amazing to find that out."

You'd think the British über-heartthrob would be used to it by now.

The largely female crowd started lining up hours ahead of time for Rob's appearance at Shinigawa Intercity Hall, where the ambiguously attached vampire portrayer took questions from the audience—which was instructed beforehand not to inquire about his personal life.

Yet the Edward-lovers found stuff to ask him, maybe about the movie or whatever. New Moon director Chris Weitz was also on hand for the Q&A session and to take pictures afterward, as was Japanese pop star Miliyah Kato, whose song "Destiny" has been heard in some of the film's trailers.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the world, Bella and Jacob held court...

Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner kept the New Moon party going in Mexico for a second day, spending most time talking to the press.

The vertices of the hottest love triangle in young-adult fiction will get some time off this week before reconvening on Friday to shoot a sketch for Jimmy Kimmel Live's Nov. 20 show. Then it's off to Paris and Madrid for their first joint events of the press tour.

Is the Pressure Getting to Robsten?

It's getting to the point that whenever anyone from the Twilight cast breathes or speaks, it's the big news story of the day. Kinda ridiculous when you think about it. We haven't seen a phenomenon like this ever, but of course we play into it when re-reporting all this stuff, too.

What we're surprised about is the backlash these lovable New Mooners are starting to get.

First Robert Pattinson with a questionable article and interview, and now our gal Kristen Stewart can't seem to catch a break:

Kristen opened up to Blackbook magazine about the perils of fame—a topic through years of experience we've realized can be very touchy (you know, be-grateful-for-what-you-have type of thing).

"I don't want to be a movie star like Angelina Jolie," Kristen tells the mag. "Nothing about being a celebrity is desirable. I'm an actor. It's bizarre to me that everybody's so obsessive."

Eeesh, we see where this is going!

First off, we may disagree with Ange's private issues and hope K.S. doesn't go down that path, but Jolie does a helluva lot of good with her celebrity. Plus, being an Oscar winner doesn't hurt.

But like we've said before, we've met K.Stew and heart her. Sometimes the stuff she says just doesn't translate well to print. Stewart is a grateful girl for what she has, no matter how words might read sometimes.

What we're more concerned with is how she and Rob may be dealing with all of this crazy stuff. First the questionable drinking (although we're not worried 'bout it), and now we're told Robsten can't let go of those damn cancer sticks!

"Most of the cast quit, except Rob and Kristen, because cigarettes in Canada are $10 a pack and it was getting ridiculous," snips an on-set source.

Fans have even started a petition to get Rob to stop smoking.

Jeez, no one cares about K.Stew? How about trying to get both of 'em to stop?

Pattinson, Stewart & Lautner Moon the Globe

New Moon stars Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart took off this weekend for the start of the film's worldwide press tour.

We're keeping tabs on the threesome as they travel the world, and here are some early highlights:

• Stewart and Lautner touched down in Brazil on Halloween. Local papers reported the pair waited more than an hour after landing to deplane in hopes the crowds would disperse. No such luck. In fact, barricades were set up around the pair's São Paulo hotel to control the mobs of fans.

• Today Stewart and Lautner arrived in Mexico City, answering fan questions at a local radio station. Sample question: "Have you ever fallen in love with your best friend?" Stewart's answer: "No."

• Meanwhile, way over in Japan this weekend, Pattinson was all smiles—and chewing gum—as he landed at Narita International Airport with New Moon director Chris Weitz. Wearing a New York Yankees hat, the star signed autographs, posed for pictures with waiting fans and looked a little dazed by all the attention and flash photograph

It’s been exactly one year since Twilight, the teenage-vampire book series turned film franchise, became a worldwide phenomenon, launching brooding, reluctant star Robert Pattinson into the celebrity stratosphere. Not since Leonardo DiCaprio’s Titanic era has there been a young actor so rabidly hunted by teenagers and paparazzi alike—enough that mere sightings of him with his co-star and rumored paramour Kristen Stewart make for international front-page news. For the cover story of Vanity Fair’s December issue, contributing editor Evgenia Peretz interviews Pattinson, Stewart, and a host of Twilight insiders for an intimate profile that describes how he landed the role of Edward Cullen, distills the essence of his appeal, and explores his discomfort with the hormone-fueled frenzy he inspires among his fans.

Peretz, who, as it happens, profiled DiCaprio in 2004, follows the Byronic British actor from the Comic-Con convention in San Diego to the Waldorf Towers in New York City, as he prepares for the November 20 release of Twilight’s sequel, New Moon. There are no wild nights out at clubs—even if he could go out without being mobbed, Pattinson would prefer to curl up with a good book.

Rather than working his way through supermodels, Pattinson, who’s been living out of three suitcases for the past year, has been feeling overwhelmed, self-conscious, and guilty. “I’m trying not to drown,” he says in his hotel room at the San Diego Hard Rock Hotel, which is littered today with beer bottles, old scrambled eggs, a half-eaten Twix bar, and a dirty pair of jeans on the living-room floor. And he notices that he hasn’t made his bed. “Oh, God. Sorry about that.”

“I’m unbearably self-conscious about stuff,” he admits. To the point where, while filming scenes before the army of New York paparazzi that has been following him around, he is terrified that his “ass crack is showing.”

Raised outside London in a small village, with a wavering desire to be either a musician or an actor, Pattinson is painfully modest about his talent and looks, and eternally confused by his fans’ devotion.

Despite the fact that he is an exquisite beauty—with perfectly formed red, red lips and a face that might have been dreamed by the Romantic poets—he thinks he resembles “a cartoon character.” One of his legs is longer than the other, which makes him look, he assures you, “like an idiot.”

He’s sure he’s driving people crazy by constantly talking about how he can’t leave his hotel room. And he sees his inability to relish his fans’ reverence as his own shortcoming. “I guess I’m not the type of guy cut out to do a franchise,” he says. “I’m not much of a crowd person.”

Pattinson’s first role in a major film was a bit part in Harry Potter, which ended up bringing him to the attention of Twilight’s producers. But if he had his way, he’d stick to playing awkward, tortured outsiders.

[Pattinson’s director from the indie film How to Be, Oliver Irving,] recalls, “he’d make his eyes water and get himself all worked up ... slapping himself and doing everything he possibly could to make him feel ill,” while passersby wondered what the hell was the matter with this guy.

When you play a weirdo, he explains, “You can always have an excuse... He’s a weirdo!”

But Pattinson’s behavior was far from antisocial during the filming of Twilight. In the evenings, director Catherine Hardwicke remembers, Pattinson was “always drunk,” entertaining Stewart and other members of the cast in his hotel room with his guitar. A “nervous attraction” was brewing offscreen.

“What Rob and Kristen had is a multitude of feelings for each other. Complex feelings for each other,” says Hardwicke. “It was what we needed. Complex, intense fascination.”

Pattinson, for his part, says of Stewart: “She’s influenced how I’ve done all the Twilight stuff. It’s quite nice to have someone who is genuinely indifferent to the whole spectacle of everything.” For the record, however, Pattinson says the rumors of a love affair are false: “It doesn’t make any difference what you say [to the tabloids]. I’ve literally been across the country [from Kristen], and it’s like ‘Oh, they were on secret dates!’ It’s like ‘Where? I can’t get out of my hotel room!’ ” Stewart is even more emphatic: “It’s so retarded,” she says. “We’re characters in this comic book.”

So for the December issue, the mag went Tiger Beat meets J.Crew catalog with a stunning 12-page piece on Robert Pattinson (ahhhhhhhh!).

The photos are amazing. Look, Rob Pattz reads books! He can really wear a sweater! He eats his lobster like this! He gets so overwhelmed! He'll hang out in bed with you all day! And, of course, he writes epic ballads at his grand piano on the beach! Swoon.

As for the actual words written about our dear sparkle vampire, it's mostly about what an overwhelmed, self-conscious wreck Rob is right now. "I'm trying not to drown," he says.

And then there's writer Evgenia Peretz's description of a bumbling teen idol: "He is often apologizing—for being boring, for the 'douchey' terrace that's attached to his hotel room, for telling you a story you might have read somewhere else already...he'll dismiss his work in any way he can."

But most Pattz fans are well aware of Rob's self-deprecating nature and that's when it's time to play up the maybe, maybe-not relationship with Kristen Stewart.

First up is the always reliable Twilight director, Catherine Hardwicke, who loves to play up Robsten speculation. "What Rob and Kristen had is a multitude of feelings for each other," she says. "Complex feelings for each other. It was what we needed. Complex, intense fascination."

Things just get more tabloidy from there as Peretz gives into the Robsten hype. "It's very likely that their off-screen relationship mirrored their on-screen one: an intense attraction that couldn't be realized. During the shoot, Stewart was with her long-term boyfriend, actor Michael Angarano."

Despite the whole tragic star-crossed lovers narrative, this is thrown in for good measure: "For the record, Pattinson insists that he and Stewart are really just 'good friends' and that he deeply admires her."

Plus, according to the Pattz, the logic doesn't add up. "It doesn't make any difference what you say [to the tabloids]," he says. "I've literally been across the country [from Kristen], and it’s like 'Oh, they were on secret dates!' It's like 'Where? I can't get out of my hotel room!'"

But then it's right back to Rob and Kristen's secret relationship. "She and Pattinson have mastered the not-touching thing," the writer says of their Comic-Con interaction. "She even throws the crowd a few curveballs by over-flirting with muscle-bound Taylor Lautner."

It's a nice effort on Vanity Fair's part to add fuel to the Robsten fire, but everything from the Hardwicke quote to the offscreen Twilight tension to the Comic-Con stuff has been covered. We all have the Internet—just stick to the pretty pictures and the nice little things Rob tells you, like his one wish:

"All that he really wants is a home, so he can get a dog, since the West Highland white terrier he had since the age of five and 'who was like my sister' died last Christmas."

Awww. Looks like we can add sensitive to his list of attributes.

TV Special to Howl at ‘New Moon’

New Moon mania is in the air — and just in time for Halloween! MTV will be airing an exclusive clip from the movie, with appearances from Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene and Nikki Reed during the network’s first Halloween special, “Ulalume: Howling at New Moon” on Oct. 30.

The hour-long special starts at 9 p.m. ET and features performances by Paramore, AFI, Dead By Sunrise and Kid Cudi from the stage at MTV’s Ulalume Halloween Festival. Tattoo maven and star of L.A. Ink Kat Von D is set to host the festivities.

Kellan and Nikki will kick off the show from one of the most feared haunted houses in North America, and word is, Ashley will dish on some of the many rumors surrounding the Twilight cast.

Then it’s up to R-Pattz, K-Stew an T-Laut to introduce an exclusive, sneak-peek clip from New Moon.

Good news Twilighters! Gossip Cop reports that Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner will all be appearing on Today in the days leading up to the highly anticipated premiere of New Moon.

Although the three aren’t slated to appear on the show together (that might cause some Twi-hards’ heads to explode with joy), all will be showing up on Today: Kristen is scheduled to appear Nov. 18, Robert Nov. 19 and Taylor Nov. 20… the same day New Moon opens in theaters!

An "Always Drunk" Rob Denies Dating Kristen?

The Robert Pattinson Vanity Fair issue has finally surfaced, and while the pics don't disappoint, we're a little surprised by some things said in the interview.

But not the parts where Rob talks Kristen Stewart.

That we totally agree with:

"It doesn't make any difference what you say [to the tabloids]. I've literally been across the country [from Kristen], and it's like 'Oh, they were on secret dates!' It's like, 'Where? I can't get out of my hotel room!' "

Rob talked to V.F. in summer, when he and K.Stew were apart filming Remember Me and The Runaways. This was when the tabs randomly decided to pick up on Robsten...And sorry, we told you no cross-country rendezvous happened. Is this supposed to be Rob's denial? Let's see if Kristen can do better.

Stewart tells the mag: "It's so retarded...we're characters in this comic book."

If you ask us, Vanity Fair is the one crying false on Rob and Kristen dating while Robsten do their usual almost-but-not-really denial. However, even the mag tried to see if this interview might be dated, but reps for Stewart and Pattz wouldn't say.

For the record, we and our Twilight sources aren't backing down.

"Who the hell knows how Rob and Kristen label it—but we would call it dating," says Deep Twi. "They are more than costars and friends."

Agreed. We don't shack up with our friends, especially when we have a house 20 minutes away. So can we all move on now?

What we were shocked about was how Rob almost came across as a drunk slob! And Catherine Hardwicke didn't help that.

She recounts how during Twilight Rob was "always drunk" in his hotel room "entertaining Stewart and other members of the cast."

To boot, the mag describes Rob's room at Comic-Con as "littered today with beer bottles, old scrambled eggs, a half-eaten Twix bar and a dirty pair of jeans on the living-room floor."

We know Rob may not be the cleanest guy around, and the Brit likes his booze, but isn't that why we love him? We don't want another cookie-cutter heartthrob. That's why this whole Rob phenomenon exists in the first place—because he's different.

So let the guy unwind, without being judgey! We'll leave you with our fave bit of the interview, when Hardwicke talks Robsten:

"What Rob and Kristen had is a multitude of feelings for each other. Complex feelings for each other...It was what we needed. Complex, intense fascination."

Even tho R and K are apart doing promos now, the couple is expected to reunite Nov. 10 in Paris before coming back to L.A. for the premiere.

Fashion Police: Kristen Stewart's Too Cool for Hairstyling

Kristen Stewart stopped in Brazil Sunday to promote New Moon (or Lua Nova). Sadly, there was no Robert Pattinson at her side, only Taylor Lautner, who actually managed to keep his shirt on.

Per usual, Kristen was doing her too-cool-for-school thing in a sequined skirt and trendy blazer. It's like business rock 'n' roll casual, perfect for the office or talking about why people in Brazil like vampires.

In fact, we didn't really have any complaints until we panned up to the hair. Oof. That Joan Jett cut is really taking a long time to grow out, and K.Stew doesn't even seem to bother styling it. We've all been there, growing out short hair is the worst, but maybe just try a little updo, Teen Choice Awards-style.

We will continue to monitor the hair situation as the New Moon tour continues on. Next stop: Mexico.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart wasted no time, um, possibly getting to business, once they landed in L.A. yesterday. Think they're finally answering our pleas to show us all a li'l more kissy stuff?

After they wrapped Eclipse early Thursday morning, the duo left Vancouver only to check in to the Chateau Marmont together yesterday afternoon.

A source close to the couple tells us that Rob and Kristen were driven into Chateau's private valley Thursday evening.

"They went straight up to a room," says a hotel source. "No one saw them the rest of the night."

Why are we not surprised?

We're told Robsten were not seen leaving the hotel, nor were they spotted in the public lobby area last night.

Today, Rob's been spotted running errands, and Kristen found time to stop by her parents' house.

If you remember, the Chateau was their hotel of choice when they shacked up together the weekend of the Teen Choice Awards.

Hopefully Rob and Kristen are managing to get some rest because they have a whirlwind next couple of weeks.

We're told the two will be hitting the road next week for New Moon promos before coming back to L.A. in a few weeks for the N.M. junket and premiere.

Remember how great that night was the first time you saw Twilight in the theater? Or maybe you’re a latecomer and you didn’t catch onto the teen vampire phenomenon until it hit home video. Well, the good folks at Summit Entertainment have decided to give you the chance to either relive the big-screen experience — or get it for the first time — by re-releasing the blockbuster film… for one night only!

According to a statement released this morning by Summit, Twilight will hit theaters nationwide again for it’s one-night engagement on Nov. 19 — which we probably don’t need to tell you is the day before New Moon, the next film in the series debuts.

Even better, Summit says select theaters will be offering discount tickets to this one-off event!

The statement gave no specific date on when tickets would go on sale, so stay tuned!

Rob & Kristen: After the Split

Even though the romance between Twilight stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart has been put, at least temporarily, on ice, the former couple still have to see each other for work. However, that doesn’t mean they’re going to spend any more time together than is necessary.

It was time for the two to take their leave of Vancouver this morning and head back to L.A, but rather than share a ride from their deluxe digs at the Sheraton, Rob and Kristen each traveled to the airport in the back of their own chauffeured cars provided by the film. And after they arrived at the airport five minutes apart, the police had to do double duty as each star was given their own escort to the gate.

It’s Over for Rob & Kristen

With Twilight fever blazing as fans count down the days to the Nov. 20 release of New Moon, there’s one thing that’s cooling down in Twi-world — the romance between the films’ stars, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart!

In the new issue of OK!, those close to the superstar pair reveal what drove them apart and whether or not they still have a future.

According to a friend of the couple, R-Pattz has been getting too serious too quickly for the likes of 19-year-old Kristen.

“Rob was talking marriage,” says the source, who explains that the relationship was also stealing all of Kristen’s attention and keeping her from spending time with her friends and family. “She told him they need to take a break.”

Additionally, with Eclipse wrapping this week, there’s been much tension about the logistics of a transatlantic romance, with Kristen wanting Rob to make the move to L.A. and the UK-based hunk preferring to stay far away from Tinseltown.

In the past month Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart got engaged, then moved in together, and then were planning the wedding of the year.

Naturally, the most logical place to go after OK! magazine's cover rampage is to announce a Robsten breakup, of course.

So what's the deal? Rob and Kristen sure have been keeping a low profile lately...

Like they always do. Everything is fine between them.

So why doesn't Kristen shout from the rooftops she's dating one of the hottest guys on the planet right now?

"She's especially closed-mouth and sensitive," dishes Deep Twi. "She was going through a breakup with Michael [Angarano], meanwhile all these reporters asking about every detail of her love life. She has no intention of ever doing that again."

Remember: K.Stew would slightly open up about M.A. when they were dating, and since their breakup, everyone wanted to know "What happened?" and "Who is she dating now?"

If Stewart doesn't actually ever confirm she and Rob are more than friends, she never has to explain what happens if they take a break or go their separate ways.

"Everyone on set knows what's going on with Rob and Kristen, and everyone just lets it happen without bothering them with labels or questions—why can't the public do that, too?" says our studio insider.

Justine Wachsberger, who plays Gianna in New Moon, also recently talked to E! News about whether Rob and Kristen will even arrive together to the premiere:

"I think that Rob and Kristen will go separate," she dished. "They are pretty private people. Everything they have done in the past, they have tried to keep it separate, so I would say that won't change now."

Eclipse Title Treatment Makes for a Moony Monday

Eclipse may have already rocked its wrap party, but the goodies from the third installment of the Twilight Saga have only just begun.

Amidst all the fun that's kicking off with New Moon hitting theaters in 25 days, the Eclipse title treatment isn't necessarily the most exciting Twi-thing going down, but it's sure worth the tease.

No, it doesn't feature new images of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart making out or anything, but we totally know there'll be plenty of that next year when the film comes out.

Eclipse gets a much sharper, daggerlike makeover than New Moon had, and sits in blood red shadows. Very ominous. Kind of like Dakota Fanning's scary red eyes.

The Twilight Twitter launched the image earlier than it had promised—it vowed to show us the title when it eclipsed 200,000 followers and it's still nowhere close. But instead, it's promising something else just as tantalizing when it hits that big number, so you might want to hit that "follow" button.

Rob Pattinson Parties With Cast, Various Marine Life

Something fishy was going on with Robert Pattinson Saturday night.

The Twilight saga sex symbol went solo last night to the Eclipse wrap party hosted by director David Slade at Vancouver Aquarium Marine Science Center, which houses more than 70,000 animals and boasts a number of underwater viewing galleries to check out all the fish.

Why, what did you think we meant?

The many eyes looking for Kristen Stewart at the scene did not see her, though they did scope out Jackson Rathbone and Bryce Dallas Howard.

Rathbone's band, 100 Monkeys, treated partygoers to a set, which we're not sure if R.Pattz was around to hear because he took off after about 45 minutes.

Despite the fact that Eclipse will not wrap shooting until next week, with Wednesday as the expected last day, the stars can't bank on much of a break. Shortly after Eclipse wraps, they'll start globetrotting in support of the second film in the Twilight saga, New Moon, which premieres in Los Angeles on Nov. 16.

Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene and Elizabeth Reaser were among the actors who finished filming this week, after which they were quick to get out of Dodge, er, Forks, er, Vancouver.

Pattinson and New Moon director Chris Weitz will kick off the press tour in Japan Nov. 2 and 3. Then, they'll join Stewart and Taylor Lautner when they hype the film in Paris on Nov. 10. Castmembers are also expected to visit countries and continents including Germany, South America and Australia in support of the film.

Twi-hards should also set their TiVos for Nov. 18-20, when Kristen, Rob and Taylor will each appear on Live With Regis and Kelly.

While you might not be able to visit the Vancouver set of Eclipse while Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner are hard at work, don’t worry — OK!’s got you covered with all the best behind-the-scenes secrets from the set!

1. Kristen kisses Rob — then laughs!
Not to ruin the illusion, but after Rob and Kristen, who play Edward and Bella, shoot their big kissing scenes, they break out laughing — then go chain-smoke. “Kristen’s the first to laugh, cracking up like a schoolgirl,” an on-set source tells OK!. On the other hand, the passionate Bella-Jacob kissing scene in Eclipse is serious business. Author Stephenie Meyer insists it be faithful to the book. During that one kissing scene, “Taylor Lautner was way into it,” the insider says. “He didn’t break character after director David Slade yelled, ‘Cut!’ ”

2. Competition in the weight room
Cast members spend hours in the gym (the vamps need upper-body strength for flight scenes; the wolf pack have to show off their abs). Chaske Spencer, who plays wolf-pack leader Sam Uley, charts Rob’s reps. “Chaske keeps track of how much weight Rob lifts,” castmate Julia Jones (Leah Clearwater) tells OK!, “and, if he can, tries to beat him!”

3. Eclipse’s “other name”
Security on Eclipse is so tight, the producers at Summit Entertainment hired off-duty SWAT-team members to guard the set and trailers. Some of the cops rearranged their vacations to work on the movie, boasting to fans that “the pay is three times better, and the work is 10 times easier,” a source tells OK!. And if you’re scouring Vancouver to find the set, here’s a hint: You know those location signs movie companies hang on telephone poles? Look for the ones that say, “Untitled Sports Movie.”

4. Kellan and Ashley are extremely close
They’re paired with other partners onscreen — he with Nikki Reed, and she with Jackson Rathbone — but Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene are constant companions. “They live next to each other in the same Vancouver apartment complex,” an insider tells OK!. “They drive to locations together, eat lunch together and go to the gym together.” Is their spark more than platonic? Sources close to the pair insist they’re just best friends.

5. They play games — and Kellan’s got a kazoo!
Since Twilight filming began, Kellan and Ashley have rotated hosting trivia evenings for the cast, says co- star Peter Facinelli. They’ve even played the Twilight board game. “It’s mostly questions about the movies,” Peter tells OK!. “We get stuff wrong. It’s really sad. But it’s fun when we get together. Twilight Stylist Shares Inside Info on Rob & Kristen!

Who hears more secrets than a hairstylist? OK! got an exclusive scoop from the creator of Robert Pattinson’s sigh-worthy Twilight hair from celebrity hairstylist Stuart Gavert of Gavert Atelier in Beverly Hills. Stuart sat down with OK! and shared the secrets that only a hairstylist hears — about how Rob and Kristen Stewart connected on the set of Twilight.

Stuart just might be responsible for creating the look that helped spark an obsession — his sexy styling of Robert’s hair to get that tousled Edward Cullen look has driven so many girls wild that men were coming into his salon asking for the “Edward” to see if it could give them the same effect.

But Stuart isn’t one to accept much responsibility for turning Rob into a sex symbol, giving most of the credit to Rob himself.

“When you meet Rob in person, he’s very English, and he’s obviously good-looking and all of that,” explains Stuart. “But something happens. There are just people who the camera loves. You get him in front of that camera with the makeup, and he was just gorgeous.”

Stuart had just as many nice things to say about Kristen, revealing, “Kristen is the girl-next-door. She has been acting since she was three or four. She is extremely unaffected, very down-to-earth, and she has her own style. She’s just that kind of an actress.

Stuart’s on-the-set stylist spilled all the things she saw about how the couple was behind-the-scenes.

“She said that Rob is much more of a method actor [than Kristen]. He would really have to prepare himself,” recounts Stuart. “For her, she is playing this young girl around her age at the time. She is falling in love with a beautiful guy — that’s not that hard to act! But he’s playing a vampire who is seeing her as prey. He’s looking at her throat, looking at her blood vessels, but at the same time he is falling in love with her, which created a lot of tension in his character.”

Though they have different styles of acting, their differences made their attraction for each other that much greater.

“I think they just have incredibly chemistry. Just the way they look at each other, and the intensity that’s there,” says Stuart.
As for their romance, Stuart has his own theory on why Kristen fell so hard for Rob.

“Shyness is a very fetching quality. I mean he’s kind of a shy person, and that make people want to know more. He’s obviously good-looking. He can turn the charm on and off. He’s an actor. That’s what you do.”

We know Rob can work the charm on-screen, but it’s the off-screen charm that Kristen likes that we want to experience for ourselves!

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart Open Up

“So I’m more of a supporting role in this one, which is why I felt so free. I didn’t have to deal with any of the bulls*** of the first one. I don’t have to hold the movie or worry about the fans. I think I did it better without all those pressures.”

And much as he loves playing the swoon-worthy vamp, British-born Robert plans to branch out as much as he can. First up? A portrayal of the young Salvador Dali having a bromance with poet Federico Garcia Lorca in the indie flick, Little Ashes.

“I had to do all these hardcore gay sex scenes,” he announces, “when I haven’t even had a sex scene with a girl in a film yet.”

He also plays the lead in his upcoming movie, Remember Me, opposite Emilie de Ravin, “I’m lining up so many different films so it’ll be harder to just label me the vampire guy,” he says.

Meanwhile, his leading lady Kristen Stewart — who is rumored to be his love off screen as well as on — sets the latest issue of Allure magazine straight, “I read that story every day… it’s in a story every day, so let’s not put it in another one.”

The actress, who chopped her hair to sport Joan Jett’s ’80s mullet while filming The Runaways this summer, has the same modesty when it comes her body.

“This shot got everyone talking like I have some sort of great ass,” she says of pictures of Bella and Edward kissing in New Moon. “But come on, I have a flat ass. I don’t know what people are talking about.”

She and Rob share a low maintenance approach to personal style.”I go outside, and I’m wearing a funky T-shirt and my hair is dirty, and people say, ‘What’s wrong with her? She needs to invest in a hairbrush.’

“I’m like, don’t you get it? I’m not that girl! It’s not like I was really clean cut last year.”

And while Taylor Lautner, 17, had to pump serious iron to play werewolf Jacob Black in New Moon, you won’t see Kristen breaking a sweat.

“I don’t exercise. I’m skinny fat,” she says. “I worry about being too skinny. You should see my brother, he’s, like, emaciated. We both just happen to be really skinny.”

Getting a glimpse of New Moon no longer requires a movie ticket.

With less than one month until the big release date, it's time for trailers tailor-made to fit on a much smaller screen—the one in your living room.

The first entry, which Summit has titled "Event," covers a ton of ground in its 30 seconds. There's tons of Robert Pattinson and his scowl and Taylor Lautner and his wolf. They even begin to do battle near the end as Kristen Stewart appropriately freaks out.

Bella also accuses Jake of killing people, which could cause a nasty rift in any friendship, even though he claims it was to protect her. At least his wolf got a makeover (but we still don't think it could take Benicio Del Toro's new Wolfman).

Even Rachelle Lefevre gets in on the action in this one. She hasn't made much of a splash in any of the longer versions playing in theaters, but her big run through the forest is apparently worthy of the small screen.

New Moon Cast Goes on Nationwide November Tour

Get ready for a lot of screams in a mall near you.

Fans of the vampire-infused Twilight series will get a treat before New Moon hits theaters next month.

Summit Entertainment is giving Twihards the chance to meet the cast of the highly anticipated film Nov. 6-19 on a nationwide mall tour.

Each of the tour's 15 stops will feature prize giveaways, Q&As with New Moon castmates as well as other surprises.

And in a move sure to start a fan frenzy, a select group of fans who snap up VIP credentials Oct. 31 will be granted access to a special event with castmembers.

To obtain the coveted VIP pass, fans must visit a Hot Topic or Nordstrom store at 8 a.m. Oct. 31 at a participating mall location. VIP credentials will be given out on a first come, first serve basis.

The nationwide tour kicks off at L.A.'s Hollywood & Highland Center Friday, Nov. 6, and will feature live performances of songs from the New Moon soundtrack from the likes of Death Cab for Cutie, Sea Wolf and Anya Marina.

New Moon's World Premiere: Countdown Begins!

New Moon doesn't hit theaters until Nov. 20, but the red carpet will be rolled out four days prior for its star-studded world premiere.

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and many others are expected at the invite-only event Nov. 16. Just as Summit did with Twilight’s premiere, there will be two screenings happening simultaneously at the Mann Village and Bruin Theatres in the Westwood neighborhood of L.A.

No Twi-fans have been spotted camping out in front of the theaters just yet, but why do we have a feeling that'll start happening sooner than later?

Meanwhile, we got some more deets on director David Slade taking a dark turn with Eclipse, the third installment of the Twilight franchise...

So You Think You Can Dance host Cat Deeley isn't in Eclipse, but ya gotta trust her when she says the flick is likely to be more intense than the others.

Deeley's hot-stuff boyfriend, Jack Huston, plays the movie's Royce King II, love interest of Rosalie Hale (Nikki Reed) before she was turned into a vampire.

"He went and did his filming, and he loved it," Deeley told me the other night at Elle's Women in Hollywood event in Beverly Hills. "I think the film is going to be really good."

And really dark.

"It's actually going to be quite dark," Deeley said. "With David Slade as director taking something that's typically for teens, spinning it on its head while still being true to the books and still drawing in the teen audience—but making it dark? That's what makes it interesting."

And Deeley says she's looking forward to Huston getting more attention. "I think I've had my time, so let him have his," she said, smiling. "I can't wait for somebody else to have it."

Even if Huston doesn't play a bloodsucker, Deeley said that doesn't keep her imagination from running a bit wilder these days.

"I haven't seen pointy teeth or anything," she joked, "but he does come alive after dark."

Let's hope the same is true for Pattinson & Co. at the premiere!

Can K.Stew Stop Paparazzi From Covering Her?

How can mags like OK! publish celeb photos without their permission? Kristen Stewart stated she's sick of herself in all the papers, can't she do something?

As oppressed by paparazzi as your favorite Twilight stars may seem—barely able to sparkle in the sun, much less go out for a latte amid all that adoration—there is such a thing as the law.

In short, it protects freedom of expression—including news gathering and photography—from censorship by the rich or powerful. It may be stressful to be K.Stew right now, but it's not the media's job—nor, let's be clear, your job as a fan—to help her have a nice day. Especially given the profession she willingly chose and the wealth and influence it has afforded her.

So what can Kristen do, pinned down in Canada like she is? Behold, her own personalized siege strategy...

...and it isn't pretty.

Some stars can take a few simple steps and manage to disappear for a while.

They can leave town or take fewer roles. Julia Roberts certainly hasn't been so interesting to the paparazzi since moving to Taos and cutting back her workload. Staying married to the same person for a while also helps; nothing is more boring to a tabloid than a longtime relationship, right, Sarah Michelle Gellar?

K.Stew could also take extra care not to be photographed with rumored boyfriend-slash-costar Robert Pattinson, which has helped Scarlett Johansson keep a lower profile since marrying What's-His-Name, That Canadian Guy.

But seriously, none of that applies here. K.Stew isn't married. The Twi-hards have catapulted her into an almost uncharted level of scrutiny, and even though she has cut back on outings, she's still under siege.

So what are we left with?

Sadly, umbrellas. Seriously. Like I said, it isn't pretty.

"First, the biggest lesson is at the age of 19, be appreciative that you have fulfilled your lifelong dream," celebrity publicist Ronn Torossian of 5W PR tells me. "You will make millions, and someone other than your parents are taking pictures of you."

In other words, if you're whining, K.Stew, knock it off.

"Making the paps lose interest at this point will be tough," Torossian continues. "If she doesn't want pics, hire people to stand around her with umbrellas, as the Jonas Brothers have done."

Sadly and alas! Sometimes there's just no escape from fame.

New Moon Is One Month Away, So Taylor Gets Vicious, Robert Gets Randy

One month.

We've been waiting so long for New Moon to hit theaters, and today marks just one month left in our countdown. That's almost as exciting as this awesome new clip and all the rad new photos released today!

In the scene, called "Jacob's Transformation," currently available on iTunes, Kristen Stewart is arguing with Taylor Lautner's pack. We're not quite sure how she can be so dour when surrounded by four seriously hot men not wearing shirts, but we guess when loose cannon Paul (Alex Meraz) says, "What did you do, little girl?" he had the big smack she gives him coming. He then gets all mad and turns into a scary wolf, which sends Jacob jumping over the porch and transforming to her rescue.

Thankfully, Jake's wolf has had a transformation of its own—it no longer makes you want to pat it on the muzzle and say, "Quit being a fussy Tay-Tay puppy." When it growls, it's actually mildly intimidating now. Yay, Chris Weitz!

But that's not all! Summit released some majorly swoon-worthy Robert Pattinson photos from the film. You may want to be sitting down for these.

In one, Bella and Edward are so on the verge of getting it on. In another, Mike looks like he's going to ralph as he sits in the movie theater with Bella and Jacob. Bella has chats with Jacob and with Alice, looks half-dead on La Push and winces as she runs through Italy. We have a dream sequence image of Bella touching her own hand and a totally dreamy one of Jacob at the beach.

Lastly, Twilight's special Twitter account is promising to show us the Eclipse title treatment when it reaches 200,000 followers. What are you waiting for?!

Twilight Cast Hunted by "Vultures" and "Rogues"

While Eclipse filming is nearing its end, not all Twilight castmembers are breathing easy.

We recently chatted with a very high up Summit source who emphasized to us the living hell these kids have been going through up in Vancouver.

It's been more than rumored that Breaking Dawn will be filmed somewhere other than British Columbia next year, and the reason has less to do with tax issues and more to do with the sanity of our favorite cast.

"It's not just the media invading [the Twilight cast's] privacy—it's the whole world," dishes a key Summit player.

How so?

It's obvious that we all are seeing Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart way less, and we've told you just how miserable their privacy is up in Canada. But even we have recently learned just how bad it's gotten.

"Civilians are flying in all over the world to hunt down whoever they can find," fesses the concerned power suit. "It's bad. Literally [Rob and Kristen] have no choice but to stay inside."

Apparently the tourist companies up in Canada are also getting out of control. While we're told there are some that are very respectful and keep their distance, more than a few companies and fans (one woman in particular) cross the line.

"Everyone calls them the Vultures," our insider tells us. "The cast hates, hates, hates them. The Vultures actually stalk [the cast]—hunt down every set location and hide out in order to record them everywhere they go off set. It's become unmanageable."

These "rogue tourists"—as Robsten, Summit and the whole Twi group calls them—have had some major impact on how the cast goes about their daily lives (more specifics on that tomorrow).

"These kids are just trying to film a damn movie—wish the world could let them."

Guess counting their millions can only go so far.

Twilight Wins Big at Scream 2009 Awards

Looks like this whole "vampire craze" isn't going away anytime soon.

Spike TV celebrated all things scary and sci-fi Saturday night at the Scream 2009 Awards, and no surprise here, the T's owned the show— Twilight, Transformers, True Blood and Trekkies.

The tasty Taylor Lautner was the talk of the night, not only picking up one of the four Twilight trophies, beating out resident heartthrob Robert Pattinson for Breakout Male Performance (don't worry! R. Pattz and rumored ladylove Kristen Stewart skipped the festivities, but both won Best Fantasy Actors).

Lautner showed up with his game face on, debuting exclusive New Moon footage for those devoted Jacob (and Edward and Bella) fans.

Lautner wasn't the only lovely face in attendance. Megan Fox and Johnny Depp showed up and created memorable moments of their own.

Fox, who has experienced loads of scrutiny since her not-so-nice comments about Transformers mastermind Michael Bay, took home the Best Sci-Fi Actress award and delivered an incredibly modest—and almost moving—acceptance speech.

"I would like to take this moment to actually say something genuine. There have been a lot of false reports concerning how I feel about this movie and I just want to be very clear that I've always felt that I am a very ordinary part of an extraordinary film," said the sexpot. "These movies took me out of obscurity and they gave me a career and I am completely grateful to everyone involved with this franchise."

Hear that? Someone just flattered her way back into Bay's good graces.

Depp was on hand to present Rolling Stones guitarist (and Captain Jack Sparrow muse) Keith Richards with the Rock Immortal nod—and the two were dressed in strangely similar fashions. Richards received a much deserved standing ovation during the presentation.

And just because they're adorable, True Blood real-life lovebirds Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer took home matching Best Horror Actor awards.

New Moon: Will Rob Fans Ditch Him for Taylor?!

Anna Kendrick is one lucky woman. Not only does 24-year-old Portland, Maine native play Jessica Stanley in the Twilight movies, but she's getting some major buzz for her work playing a feisty Ivy League-educated efficiency expert who goes head-to-head with a corporate downsizer (George Clooney) in the upcoming Up In the Air.

I caught up with Kendrick last night at a private cocktail party, where it was announced she'll receive the Rising Star Award at the Palms Springs International Film Festival in January.

Read on to find out what she says about Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and so much more…

As we all know, Pattinson isn't so comfortable with all the attention he gets from fans. So I'm sure he's hoping Kendrick's New Moon prediction comes true. "Taylor will certainly capture the hearts of many people who thought they only had eyes for Rob," Kendrick said of the upcoming second installment of the Twilight movie franchise. "He's so cute. He's such a cutie."

And Tay should do just fine collecting even more admirers. "You meet Taylor and there's something really special about him," Kendrick said. "He's so warm. He's so different from Rob and different from Kristen. There's something about him that feels he's sort of built for this."

Not that she thinks there's anything wrong with R & K. "God bless them," Kendrick said. "They seem to be handling it so well, so much better than I could ever imagine it for myself. I don't know how they manage to stay so normal and level-headed."

In fact, she wishes the tabloid crap would stop already. "There's a part of me that gets frustrated that they're on the cover of a magazine and it's says they're engaged!" Kendrick griped. "You just want to scream. You just want to hold the magazine up and scream to everyone in the supermarket, 'This isn't true!'"
If Robsten ever needs tips on going undercover, perhaps Kendrick could give them some tips she picked up from Clooney.

"It was interesting to fly with George and see his techniques for not getting noticed," she explained. "I'm not going to blow his cover, but he doesn't go in disguise. It's fascinating that 99 percent of the plane never knows he's on board."

Kendrick admits she was convinced that she didn't land the part in Up In the Air when she auditioned for director Jason Reitman (Juno). It was only after she got the job did Reitman tell her that he actually wrote the role with her in mind after seeing her in Rocket Science.

Not that knowing that made it any easier for her during filming. "I was so nervous the entire time," Kendrick said. "I thought they'd fire me and hire Scarlett Johansson."

New Moon Soundtrack, Shmoundtrack—Move Up Movie Release!

Summit Entertainment was so excited it had to tweet: "Due to overwhelming demand, THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON soundtrack is being released this Friday!"

And we were so confused we had to ask: Hey, Summit, is there not overwhelming demand for the movie?

By your studio reasoning, shouldn't we get that early, too? What's so special about Nov. 20? What's wrong with Oct. 20? Or, hey, what about Friday?

Won't work, you say, Summit? Too soon, you say, Summit?

To which we say, are you kidding?

If you texted Robert Pattinson fans that New Moon would be opening in about 30 minutes, you'd have packed theaters in about 30 seconds.

So what's the problem?

Our inability to understand Hollywood, apparently.

We put a call into Chris Thilk of the movie-marketing blog Movie Marketing Madness. We wanted to know why, for the love of Taylor Lautner, we can put a man on the moon, and then blow it up, but we can't get New Moon in theaters till Thanksgiving time?

"It is harder to move a movie around," Thilk told us.

Harder to move than a soundtrack, that is.

"The soundtrack has probably been 98 percent locked in since August. They've known what songs are going to be on there," Thilk said. "So it's pretty easy to pull the trigger by three or four weeks."

And it's not pretty easy to pull a trigger on a movie?

Actually, no, Thilk explained. There are promotional plans to consider. There are special effects to perfect—Edward Cullen doesn't glisten without help, after all.

And that's all well and good, but we know what you're thinking: How did Summit just last year move up the release of Twilight by three weeks?

Because it made the move about three months in advance.

"If we were in August, and they said we're moving [New Moon] to early November," Thilk said, "well, that's OK."

Ever the voice of reason, Thilk said that while he didn't doubt hard-core Pattinson fans "would adjust on a dime," he doubted Summit would risk losing less plugged-in fans to release-date confusion.

Reason, however, has little to do with mania. And nothing to do with New Moon mania.

So just give us the damned movie!

Taylor Lautner Can't Keep His Shirt On

Robsten Fanfic Competition: People vs. OK!

Double New Moon covers this week! And both feature Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart!

People's Special New Moon Collector's Edition Extravaganza Party Issue is mostly about the upcoming film, but they do manage to sneak in a little Robsten fanfic. How could they not?

Meanwhile, OK! isn't ashamed to let all their Robsten fanfic hang out right there on the cover. "All the intimate details about our life at home," the headline reads. Yes, this is first-person, like Rob and Kristen are really saying this. And, no, the magazine never talks to them.

So whose fanfic about the maybe lovers is best?

For their Robsten article, People largely repurposes year-old unaccredited Entertainment Weekly and Comic-Con quotes to rehash the story of Rob and Kristen becoming a couple—even though the mag never legitimately confirms the union. And let's face it, their nonstory is pretty much common knowledge to anyone that reads our Awful Truth column:

Rob jokingly proposed to Kristen several times on the Twilight set
Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke cast them because of their chemistry
Rob had a fling with Nikki Reed
Rob and Kristen love music, hate Hollywood
They hang out in Vancouver off-set
Then there's some anecdote Hardwicke told at 2008's Comic-Con about Rob getting passionate during a kissing scene and falling off the bed. According to People, that "told her everything she needed to know."
Moving on to OK!: This is where things get fun, as the tabloid gets supercreative describing Rob and Kristen's "love nest" in the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre. Some of the more awesome made-up quotes:

"Rob and Kristen sleep in a king-size bed, gaze out from floor-to-ceiling windows at the stunning Vancouver skyline, microwave Rob's beloved Hot Pockets in one of three full kitchens..."
"At night, the movie buffs watch DVDs on a large flat-screen—if not a contemporary flick then perhaps an old standby."
"Their rooms contain no fewer than six natural-gas fireplaces, in front of which Rob serenades Kristen with Van Morrison and John Lee Hooker tunes...and Kristen reads aloud from the volume of Virgil's Doomed Love that he gave her this past year."
"They sleep on and off all day, and cuddle."
"'They love to play little games together, like outrunning the paparazzi,' a source tells OK!. 'One night when they got into the hotel elevator, they were laughing so hard! Kristen collapsed onto his chest, and he rubbed her head.' Then they ascended to their celestial nest and left the real world behind."
The most believable part of the whole thing is that Rob loves Hot Pockets. He seems like a Hot Pockets sort of guy, but other than that, it's mostly just a fun read. We can't decide which is best: Kristen reading Virgil in front of the fireplace or the "ascended to their celestial nest" bit.

You know it's just a matter of time before OK! reveals how Rob and Kristen have shared their very special wedding plans.

Hey, we were right (as usual)! Twitter really is jeopardy for celebs. Well, at least for some of the Web's biggest offenders:

Blog monsters Miley Cyrus, Lily Allen and Courtney Love have all stopped tweeting. But how will they entertain us if not for their Internet ramblings? Through their music? Oh dear god, no!

But not all is lost in the Twitterverse, 'cause Miley, Lily and Court's departure from the social networking site left open some gaps for other celebs to fill. Fans petitioned to get outlandish 30 Rock star Tracy Morgan on Twitter, and boom! He got on just like that. (The demand sure was high—TM's been Tweeting for less than a week and he's already got 40,000 followers.)

You know what that means, right, folks?

It means we're starting the official Robsten petition to get Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart on Twitter!

Sure, there's a Twilight Twitter with exclusive tweets from director Chris Weitz, but that's focused on the flick, not the duo we want to hear more about.

And we don't mean some fake wannabes pretending to be the Twilight babes, either. We want the real deal, dammit.

We know they like being private 'n' all, and all the power to 'em, but a few tweets every now and then to communicate with their rabid followers sure wouldn't hurt. And we bet they'd rack up more than 40 thou each in less than a day.

The feeling is mutual. Officially they're just pals, but even a member of the undead would feel the heat between Stewart, 19, and Pattinson, 23. Still, Stewart has been an elusive quarry. "Rob has been after Kristen since they started filming" the series two years ago, says a production source. After wrapping sequel New Moon in May, the pair spent the early summer on different coasts: she in L.A. filming The Runaways, portraying Joan Jett; he in New York City filming the indie drama Remember Me. But in August they'll reunite to film Eclipse, the third film based on the Twilight books, and friends wonder if their flirtation can blossom into full-fledged romance. "He's a total ladies' man," says a source. "She's unattainable, and that makes her attractive to him."

Turns out the London-born Pattinson, who earned his teen-idol cred as Cedric Diggory in two Harry Potter movies, had his eye on Stewart from the start. He auditioned after seeing the L.A.-bred former child star (she was Jodie Foster's daughter in 2002's Panic Room) in her sultry turn in 2007's Into the Wild. "She's basically the reason I did the movie," he said last year. "When I got in the room with Kristen, there was a certain chemistry." So why didn't they let it combust? Several factors stood in the way. As they began filming Twilight in 2008, Stewart was all business—and serious about actor boyfriend Michael Angarano, 21. Pattinson proceeded to have a fling with costar Nikki Reed. "They were hooking up, but it wasn't anything serious," says a source, adding that Reed broke it off because "he had a thing for Kristen, who is [Nikki's] best friend." Pattinson "plays girls," adds the source.

Set sources say the romantic tension between Pattinson and Stewart grew over time, despite concerns about mixing love and work. "Kristen is hard to read and very dry. She was the one person whose attention Rob couldn't get," says a source. But when the cast headed to Vancouver to film in March, they spent time together playing guitar, going to concerts and spending long nights out at local restaurants. On the weekend after Stewart's April 9 birthday, Angarano was nowhere to be seen, but Pattinson joined her and other castmates for a party at Rodney's Oyster House. (Reps won't comment on whether Stewart and Angarano, who were last photographed together on April 25, are still dating.)

Weeks later, after a concert by Pattinson's musician pal Sam Bradley, Pattinson and Stewart were spotted kissing at Vancouver bar Richard's on Richards. "They were whispering in each other's ear and getting all cuddly," says waitress Alicia Bell. "They were acting like a girlfriend and boyfriend." Since New Moon wrapped, both actors have kept low social profiles. Despite rumors linking him to costar Emilie de Ravin, Pattinson spent his free time with male pals at hipster bars such as Black & White. "Fame came to him very unexpectedly," says an old friend. "He's a really down-to-earth guy who is shy."

But not when it comes to Stewart. "She's the one girl he can't get," says a source. That doesn't mean he won't try. Asked by Ryan Seacrest last year if he could fall for his costar, the fanged heartthrob seemed ready to take a bite: "Oh, yeah—she's amazing!"

The 19-year-old actress dished on her character Bella has taught her. Kristen shared, “You don’t need to give reasons for the things you do - you just have to do what you want. And sometimes the thing that seems messed up to everyone else is what’s right for you. You have to do it and not be ashamed of it.”

Kristen also revealed that no one knew how big Twilight was going to be, including her: “I’m used to doing really tiny movies. But then it turned into a big deal. I mean, I know how obsessed the fans are - they love it, but we love it just as much!” she said.

Miley Cyrus leaving Twitter is, like, so five minutes ago, thanks to the social network's hottest new member.

Oh, @Twilight, where have you been all our lives?!

The Twilight Saga (or, rather, the folks at Summit Entertainment) has signed up to offer vamp- and wolf lovers alike a glimpse at the daily goings-on in the fictional world of Forks. And after only 20 hours on the site, the goods just keep on comin'!

For example, this TwitPic of Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner wearing the same wig while Robert Pattinson looks on is "a Twitter exclusive!"

New Moon director Chris Weitz has shared the film's hefty run time—two hours and 10 minutes of Robsten in all their glory—and a photo of him at the sound mixing stage.

Plus, the 20 people the account follows reads like a list of TwiTweeps, making it easy to bulk up your entire feed with news on the series.

Sadly, Rob and Kristen aren't (yet) on the list.

But What If New Moon Sucks?

I could tell you it's unhealthy for anybody to look directly into Eclipse, for it can fry one's IQ as quickly as one's corneas. But apparently, even this flat-out scientific fact can't kill the Twilight Saga franchise—and I'm trying to help you!

More specifically, box-office analysts say, there are very few scenarios that would even put a fang scratch in this juggernaut—including the movie absolutely sucking. I'll let you decide whether that's good news.

But wait, you may say. There's an actual thing that can make Twilight go away?

What could it possibly be? Well, one guess...

...and it isn't even Robert Pattinson.

As contractually locked down as that poor kid most certainly is, even if he were able to worm his way out of the series, box-office analysts say the film producers, in sinister league with Stephenie Meyer, would likely come up with some sort of workaround. (Look! Over there! Taylor Lautner! And his biceps!)

No, the one thing that could put a stake in Twilight is money. And the possibility of New Moon not making any is about as likely as Meyer giving up her high-school blogger stylings about "insignificance" and "impossibilities."

Moviemaking and book publishing are businesses. And as box-office analyst Chad Hartigan of Exhibitor Relations explains, even Twilight isn't immune from that.

"Speaking in hypotheticals," Hartigan says, "if New Moon wasn't making any money, that would kill the franchise. Hollywood doesn't do anything if it stops making money, but I don't see that as a possibility in this case."

Just how much money would New Moon have to not make?

Well, the budget for New Moon ranges from an estimated $50 million to $70 million, depending on who you talk to, so the flick would have to make less than that for Summit Entertainment to blink at filming Breaking Dawn. (Eclipse, as you Twi-fans know, is already under way.)

However, Hartigan says "only the apocalypse" could stop New Moon from bringing in an estimated $90 million to $100 million—in its opening weekend alone.

It might just be time to accept that the franchise is here to stay.

"If you can't beat them, join them," Hartigan advises. "And you can expect another decade of Twilight."

R-Pattz Risking It All for Kristen

In less than a year Robert Pattinson has gone from “that handsome guy who played Cedric Diggory” in the Harry Potter films to the world’s most desired movie star.

But now, on the cusp of even bigger success with the impending release of New Moon and Eclipse currently being filmed in Vancouver, it may all slip away from R-Pattz, thanks to his recently accelerated romance with his on-and-off-screen girlfriend Kristen Stewart.
Because it’s not only his legions of female fans who might be disappointed to see Rob taken off the bachelor block by Kristen — there’s also the folks behind the Twilight films.

A real-life romance between the two would subvert New Moon’s entire story line, in which Bella falls for hunky werewolf Jacob Black, played by 17-year-old Taylor Lautner, and the studio brass want the Bella-Jacob spark to appear equally as plausible as the Bella-Edward relationship.

“The producers took Rob and Kris aside and told them to keep their relationship under wraps for a few more months,” an insider tells OK!. “But they’re so much in love, they can’t keep their hands off each other.”

It’s made life a bit of a pressure cooker for the two young superstars. “They’re crazy about each other, and they want to shout it from the rooftops,” says an Eclipse set insider. “But they’re also part of this massive machine called Twilight and producers have this thing timed with scientific precision. They don’t want Rob and Kristen to tell the world about their relationship until the time is right.”

Adds the source, “Rob’s whole world is Kristen. I’m surprised he even knows his lines because he’s so absorbed with her. He has no time whatsoever for his guy friends and has cut virtually everyone off so he can spend every waking moment with Kristen. He’s all about his woman.”

Regardless of whether he’s jeopardizing his career by moving toward marriage with Kristen, Rob is clearly ready and willing to take the risk. “Trust me; he generally does what he’s told by producers,” one source tells OK!, “but this kid has a strong will of his own, and if he wants to walk around Vancouver with Kristen in front of the world, he’s going to.”

Kristen Stewart: “I Feel Like I Really Know Bella Now”

For all the girls (and let’s face, it, women) out there who have read the Twilight series and dreamed about being Bella, rest assured that Kristen Stewart, while not actually being Bella, is trying her hardest to bring her character to life for the fans. K-Stew chatted with veteran actor Dennis Hopper for the October issue of Interview magazine and revealed her inner feelings on becoming Bella.
“I’ve actually always been interested in following a character more long term, but the only place to really do that as an actor is on a TV series,” she explains in the interview. “But the Twilight series is cool because you know what’s ahead of you — all of the books have been written. And I get breaks in between.”

Even though Kristen knows what’s coming next, she says the downtime in between playing Bella isn’t easy.

“It’s sort of a depressing thing to lose a character just when you’ve been able to get to know her,” Kristen confesses. “Usually, at the end of a film it’s like I’ve finally gotten to know this person completely, and then we’re done. That actually happened on the set of Twilight, and then it happened again on New Moon. Each time my character Bella became a different person, and I got to know that person and take her to the next level.”

And then there are the legions of fans who, along with envying Kristen’s time with leading man Robert Pattinson, have already cast themselves as Bella. The importance of portraying such a beloved role isn’t lost on Kristen.

“I do feel more of a pressurized strain than what is typical for me. Usually, what drives you is your own personal responsibility to the script and the character and the people you are working with. But in this case, I have a responsibility not only to that but to everyone who has personal involvement in the books — and now that spans the world,” Kristen explains.

“It’s an insane concept,” she says, adding that she is wholly invested in Bella now, perhaps even a little too much.

“There are certain things in Twilight… As much as I’m proud of that movie and I do like it, I feel like maybe I brought too much of myself to the character. I feel like I really know Bella now,” Kristen admits. “But most readers feel like they know Bella because it’s a first-person narrative. She’s like a little vessel and everyone experiences the story through her. All of these girls who are fans personally feel like they encapsulate that character. So it’s like, ‘How the hell am I going to do that for all of them? It’s impossible!’ But I’ve decided, if you’re just unabashedly honest all of the time, you have nothing to be ashamed of.”

Hey, we can’t all be Bella, but someone’s got to do the job, and Kristen seems to be up for the challenge!

Rob & Kristen “Seem to Make Each Other Happy”

Still don’t believe that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are a happy couple in real life? Just ask a few of the locals in Vancouver who have the fun job of serving the entire Eclipse gang: The very discreet team from The Awful Truth blog on E! had the chance to do a little digging on Robsten with the hostesses at a local spot where the Twilighters like to dine.
“The whole cast comes in a lot together. For some reason, this is one of the places the paparazzi doesn’t constantly find them,” dished one hostess to E!, after the gossip detectives pledged to keep the location anonymous.

“It looks like they all really get along well. It’s always a fun table — they are laughing, joking and just very polite,” added the other hostess.

A.T.: How about Rob and Kristen, what is their dynamic like?
Hostess One: Doesn’t everyone just know that they’re dating?

Hostess Two: Oh, well everyone here knows. They are the only cast members who will come in alone a lot. You can just tell by looking at them. They’re really cute together, always smiling.

A.T.: Love it! Hate to say it though, but “smiling” and “Kristen Stewart” seem unlikely to be in the same sentence together.
Hostess One: No way. She is incredibly sweet — I’d be a bitch, too, if there were cameras constantly in my face. But she’s great, and so is Rob. They just seem to make each other happy.
